How to practise after AI essay feedback
A worked paragraph revision, a decision rule for accepting feedback, and a fresh prompt to test independent writing.

Turn a general comment into a local decision
When feedback says an argument is unclear, locate the exact sentence where a reader would ask why. Ask for quoted evidence and the missing relationship. Check the suggestion against your prompt and draft before accepting it.
Work through an original paragraph
Draft: Cities should improve bus schedules before making tickets free. A worker starts at seven, but the first bus arrives at eight. A possible addition is: A free ticket would not solve this worker’s problem, because the bus would still arrive too late. The addition connects the example to the claim; it does not merely replace vocabulary.
Revise the relationship first
Check the task, the claim, the example and the explanation before polishing wording. Take one suggestion at a time. If you cannot explain a change, keep it as a question instead of accepting a whole rewritten paragraph.
Keep a revision note
Save the original sentence, your revision and the reason for it. For this example: “I explained why a free fare does not address the problem in my example.” This note gives you a check to use in the next draft.
Try a fresh prompt
Should a library buy more books or extend its opening hours? Write a claim, a specific situation and an explanation without reopening the bus paragraph. Afterwards, ask whether your situation actually supports your preferred choice.
Use EssayStep for the loop
Write your own draft, request feedback, then compare revisions. The built-in review example is a teaching sample; live AI feedback requires login. Formative comments are not official exam scores, and personal essays must keep your own truthful experiences.
